Any person trained to impart Sex Education can play role of a "Sex Educator".
School teachers are more suited for this task as they are in constant touch with children from 4 yrs to 14 yrs of age.
Any person can take this training for self-help or for helping their children and other family members.
Sex education involves giving various facts which can affect person’s physical and psychological development. Hence, careful revealing of required information in classified manner to an individual is necessary depending upon his/her phase of development and problems at that stage.
Since Sex plays a vital role in person’s physical and psychological development, it is important to have necessary and authentic information at the right time.
Sex education has an emotional as well as social side and covers explanation of facts, feelings, rights as well as consequences of sexual relation.
Sex Education also relieves a person to a great extent from inferiority complex or inhibitions which may be caused by ignorance or incorrect information and misconception.
No person can actually ask all the questions necessary for him to know. But, a well planned Sex education programme can offer most of the information necessary at that phase of life usually in one sitting without being asked.
