Verbal communication may not be always possible or appropriate to express every sexual need even for the couples in long-term relationship.

It is possible, that person may move their partner’s hand to a part of the body to indicate where the sensation is more exciting.

Person can also make suggestive movements or appreciative sounds to express what makes them feel good. This can also be communicating by changing the position as and when the situation demands.

People should pay particular attention to what their partner does to them in the course of sex.  One can easily derive from the actions of the partner, especially when they are repeatedly done, what their partner likes to enjoy.

Non-verbal clues may therefore be a valuable way of communicating sexual preferences.
